The thing I love the most about this dish is its extreme simplicity. This is one of those dishes that is basically IMPOSSIBLE for you to mess up. All you need are tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, EVOO, and a bit of ground pepper and salt (kosher, sea, “whatever floats your boat” salt).
